Earlier this week a judge in California ruled the Prop. 8 was unconstitutional. Prop. 8 was voted on and passed by the people of California. The people spoke and an activist judge who himself is openly gay has silenced the people's voice on the issue of gay marriage. It seems that our vote does not matter if it gos against the grain of liberal beliefs. If this country's government is "for the People By the People",how is it that the voices of the people can be silenced by the power of one man?Does our vote still count?
This article has nothing to do with my views on gay marriage,so please keep the biggot-homophobe comments to your self. This article is about voice of the people and the activism of a judge. I am sure everyone who comments on this article can keep can keep this conversation above the third grade name-calling level. Please share your views. Thanks.
